Oushak is an innovative improvisors collective led by instrumentalist producer, Darrin James. James regularly assembles some of Detroit's most exciting improvisors for sonic excursions at his studio, Ravine Records. The resulting works are free ranging musical adventures that create new sonic textures where electronic effects and synthesizers intersect with soulful jazz inspired grooves.
